Grand Canyon National Park
The Grand Canyon is a must see on a trip to the West Coast of the United States. It is a steep sided canyon carved by the Colorado River, 446 km long, between 6 and 29 km wide and a depth of over 1600 meters.
The Grand Canyon that we visit today is a gift received from past generations. You can leisurely stroll along its trails and feel the sunlight and the wind on your face, admiring the beauty of its colors. Have fun with the grace of the crows that flutter in the height. View a beautiful sunrise or sunset. Receive the teaching that this destination transmits to us: the sense of humility that is born from the existing connections between all the elements of nature and the care of this Earth.
You can do it in 1 day or recommended at least 2 nights. Essential points to see would be North Rim (South Rim) and South Rim (South Rim). The way to enjoy and get the best views would be: driving the car freely, guided tour from Las Vegas, flying in a helicopter, flying in a light aircraft or trekking to the Colorado River.
It is recommended that the best time to visit is in late summer, early fall.
The South Rim area will be open from May 29 to June 04 with limited entry and recreational access. The North Rim area is slated to open June 5 for daytime use.
